Inheritance Book 3!!!

I was casually browsing on the amazon, updating my book list and then I saw it…. (drumroll) Inheritance Book 3..!!! YAAAYYY!!! Finally!! after waiting for.. hmm since I can’t remember how long it’s been, it must have been a very very long time (hiperbola mode on ). The book is titled Brisingr and it’s coming out on September 20. Duhh di sini ada gak ya??

Okay it’s been a long time since I wrote down a review on a book so here goes.

Yesterday I finished reading memory keeper’s daughter. I just bought the book on a whim because I was very bored and needed something to read. I decided to buy that particular book because it was on the new york times bestseller list (and also because it was on a 20% discount ). That was my mistake, trusting the new york times to pick my book for me (again). I mean, what was I thinking?? I had bought a book before also because it was on new york times bestseller list and it sucked. Big time.

The start was a little slow, kinda boring, made you want to put it down. But I persevered and plowed on. It was definitely the kind of book you read just to pass some time (meaning you read it because there was nothing else to do), not the kind you read because you want to. And that was the way I read it. Before going to bed or while I was doing the laundry. And even that couldn’t prevent me from getting bored beyond belief of the book. Somehow simply on determination I got through to the half of the book and there was nothing!! No emotional moment whatsoever. God.. How can a book like this be a bestseller!! The US must be having a serious shortage of good books.. Well from then on I skipped to the last three chapters and guess what.. Nothing. Nada. Tak ada. No part that made me cry or hold my breath or whatever. Bah. That did it. No more reading the book. Now even just looking at it makes me mad. Total waste of money. Demit..

So for those of you who wanted to buy the memory keeper’s daughter.. DON’T!! Use your money to buy other, more useful and definitely more interesting things. Or if you still want to buy it, I’m willing to sell it to you at a bargain price

semalam aku baca buku confessions of an economic hit man. bacanya loncat2 sii ga dari awal ampe akhir. yang kubaca terutama bagian tentang indonesianya. juga tentang venezuela yang diselamatkan oleh saddam. menurut penulisnya, kalo gak karena saddam, yang mo dserang amrik tu venezuela, bukannya irak. O_o

after reading the book.. duh maakkk jadi stres awak..!! rasanya betul2 marah+muak+benci dengan corporatocracy dan terutama pimpinannya (siapa lagi kalo bukan amrik)!! orang-orang yang terlibat corporatocracy itu betul2 busuk sebusuk-busuknya sampe ke dalam-dalamnya. mereka betul2 menghalalkan segala cara untuk menguasai suatu (banyak, tepatnya) negara. sementara amriknya makin kaya, rakyat negara-negara yang bersangkutan teteuupp.. dan amrik heran kenapa banyak orang benci sama mereka??!!! dasar busukkk!!!! duhh stres aku..
