Watched the pilot episode of psych and I think I’m gonna watch the rest of season 1. It has its cliched scenes here and there but the story was interesting (bizarre is more like it I guess) and (the most important thing) funny without trying too hard to be funny. It’s not sitcom funny mind you, more like a one-hour series that has humor blended into it, like “Monk” (though I don’t like “Monk”). Which, reminds me of “How I Met Your Mother”, zealously promoted by a friend of mine. I gave it a try and turned out it’s just one of those run-of-the-mill sitcoms. The jokes were stale and the scenes felt too scripted. Or maybe I’m just past that age to watch sitcoms (mang ada?? :P )..
